A Dictionary of Blackfoot Metaphysics is an animated video that documents the deep meaning of phonemic units of Niitsipowahssin, the Blackfoot language. Under the guidance of and co-produced with Blackfoot Elder, Amethyst First Rider, the animated video demonstrates Dr. Leroy Little Bear’s teachings about Blackfoot metaphysics—in his own words.

Based on Dr. Little Bear’s description of all reality being comprised of energy waves, the animated video was made using particle systems mapped on to 3D digital objects as a way to communicate the constant motion, constant flux articulated within phonemic units of the Blackfoot language. The video was presented at the Abundant Intelligences Annual General Meeting (October 9th, 2025) and at the Dr. Margaret Perkins Hess Gallery (October 17th, 2025 - January 2026).
